Delicacies of the Week

Basically what i have every morning is nuggets, nuggets and just nuggets. I know you'll say, why don't go out and get yur own food? Heloo... You've gotta armor yourself before you can go out. Gosh, so why not just stay home and try to stop yourself from shivering time to time. Anyways, the man will come back and bring me out dinner each day.

Monday -
We had authentic CHEENA bbq which was initially quite yummy, brinjals (ohmp!), chickie wings and more. But after a plate of everything, you'll know they all taste exactly the same. Great experience afterall.

Everything is deep fried, fried or salty ard here. Its somehow they love everything submerged in oil. We had a number of roadside stalls and byfar only that 'roti prata' is somewhat still delicious.

Delicious black chickie soup to end the day and warms my heart.

Tuesday-
Baby do realise that i'm not very used to the food here. He even commented that i would not survive here if it continues like this. But the doting man still brought me to a fine resturant where i had tom yum steamboat. wheee... and its seriously not cheap at all.

Oh, and the subway cookies here ar quite different from SG. I always lyke my cookies soft after awhile but the cookies they'll get even harder here(damn weather!!) even the frying oil i used to prepare breakfast fer the man solidifys before i could even wash the pan.

Wednesday-
After a long story, i just wanna remind myself of the korean food i had last night. OHMP! SUPER YUMMY. there's no cheena taste and its pretty authentic. I wanna go back and try the beef soup and have more of that kimchi soup. Just hope that it could satisfy him too, afterall korea food ain't that fitting to his taste buds.

Baby also brought me to famous resturant recommended by Lonely Planet and we had dumplings. I would just say they ar just clean.

Freezing Indoors

Apparently, these people ar stupid enough not to cater housing fer Winter! The wind is leaking indoor and the heater doesn't work well. Its far different from Korea where everywhere is warm inside. I'm stuck in a freezer even when i'm not out. Its no wonder they produce weird stuffs lyke rechargable warmer, pillow fer yur mouse, gloves fer typing.

Day 2

Day 2 was lotsa shopping and doggie wonderland! There were too many stuffs to look at but not all had good quality. Thus, its quite a hassle to shop. Had 过桥米粉 and really nice bubble tea.

And here are some pictures taken with baby's dslr.

Poor little mini xmas tree which everyone were fascinated upon.

And lastly dinner at a steamboat restuarant where items were dirt cheap and a fish bone pierced into my gums.

Arrival on A Foreign Land

Greetings from faraway (its not exactly far but 5hrs of plane ride alone with cheena men beside you ain't very pleasing.)! China eastern airlines was a-o-kay, the plane was big enough and clean but it felt lyke a bumpy bus ride throughout. First impression ain't that great, the atmosphere was cold even in the airport (makes me wonder why?) i was freezing before i could get my luggage. oh, and i didn't got to eat my popeye back in T3. Buzzing around and there met my prince charming aka mr CX at terminal 1, departure hall, door 7!

Late as usual but he got me roses and seriously his existence compensates fer all the waiting.

Cheena Roses!

Anyways, we hop back on the cab and travelled to the mrt station. Shop at hrmp.... Seriously can no longer recall where. Somewhere in the mid of the mrt station, had beef noodles and left to the railway station. Everywhere was just sunk with people. It felt lyke monkeys walking around you. Fake lvs, gucci. Rude, crude people who just stare at you instructing you something they have in mind. (No wonder, all their wrinkles ar stuck at eye creases.) Traumatised baggage check at the railway station where nobody queues and rams their bags on the security belts, rushes through and hogs directly in the front lyke as if the belt doesn't move forward. Oh gosh, let me just gasp fer a moment. $#%@*!@&

I'm so glad baby bought 1st class train tickets. Seats were big and best of all, i don't have to squeeze with monkeys! 40 minutes later, we arrived at Suzhou's Railway station with 2.2 degrees welcoming my arrival. The rest of the night was merely rushing around looking fer last minute bargains, food. But we ended up with Char Mee i brought from SG, fried chicken, egg and gzoya. That's the tiring first day and i miss my mum.
